- When this beef is imported meat packers can simply repack the meat with a USDA(USA) label.
- How are consumers supposed to know from where their meat comes?
- The USA requires that ranchers and farmers adhere to the highest standards and regulations when raising beef cattle. This is not the same for other countries!
Why our cows?
- Born, raised, & harvested in Nebraska, USA.
- We raise our cattle as humanely as possible.
- We do NOT feed or use any hormones or antibiotics.

The butcher facility we go through is a small family owned business. - Our beef is aged for 21 days for superior tenderness.
- Meat can be safely frozen and maintain its original quality/taste for as much as two years.
- Schaeffer Beef will hand pick the best animal for you when you are ready to purchase. This can take from 8-10 weeks to be ready from picking the animal to butcher and delivery.
